Farm Fert is one of its leading companies in its field, having being in operation since 2005 in the past years it has gained a reputation of one of supplying lime and gypsum of the highest quality to Northern, Southern Natal and the Eastern Cape. 

Sam comes from a farming family where her roots have definitely been ingrained in Agriculture and its involvement having had a father whom ran a very successful transport business for many years; Oldfield’s Transport whom also gained a name in its field.  Sam & her husband Andrew, have managed Omnia Fertilizer’s distribution depot in Cato Ridge since 2005 and strive for quality service in transportation and delivery of fertilizer/lime/gypsum associated with Omnia and Farm Fert alike.

Sam seems to have started her liming career very young at heart it seems; when her father bought a farm in Greytown after leaving his family farm in Highflats.  (Seen in the photos are lime bags on their family farm in Greytown many years ago) Sam has always had a heart for agriculture and growing things, she seems to have gained her green fingers from her grandfather and Mother, whom were avid gardeners.  Sam also sports a lovely garden inspired by much of her mother’s influence.

Farm Fert operates out of the Omnia Fertilizer Blender & Depot in Cato Ridge, where we also have some lime and gypsum stock which we supply small buyers, otherwise we arrange direct cost-effective loads direct from mine to farm.  We supply lime and gypsum in bags, bulk bags and bulk tippers/walking floors, depending on what the customer requires.
